With 20 native livestock and poultry for you to know and knit
by Alice Underwood (2020)
Many Sheepfold customers have been asking for a follow up to my popular Sheep of Many Colours book. Here it is!
A Breed Apart includes 20 knitting charts for rare and native British livestock and poultry breeds, featuring sheep, cattle, goats, pigs, horses, ducks, a goose and a turkey. As before, information and photos of all the breeds featured are included, such as the critically endangered Shetland duck and the endangered Exmoor pony.
How you use the charts is your choice, but photographs are included giving some ideas and inspiration. The cover features pastel drawings of two of the breeds in the book.
“The book arrived today and is beautifully presented as was the previous one. Many thanks for the hard work you put into the designs.” MF

“She loved it so much that she phoned me to ask me to get her the other book! She is telling everyone about her book! She is very pleased with it.” NB
“The book arrived safely and it's just as lovely as the first one!” CG

One of my friends just returned from the UK with your book and we all loved it — being knitters and owning sheep — we all want to knit the patterns! DS (USA)
I cannot recommend you enough. Great range of kits and yarn, British wools and a helpful, personal service. Fantastic. LR
I have just received the yarn. It is beautiful.
Thank you for sending it to me so quickly. DJ
